Composition, guidance and competences:

  • APAF is managed by a Board formed by 4 to 7 members
  • The members of the Board of APAF are elected by the General Assembly from among the effective members of the Association
  • APAF has a President, and may have a vice-president
  • The members of the Board are elected for 3 years and can be re-elected one or more times
  • The President of the Board of APAF has a casting vote in the event of a tie in the votes
  • In case of temporary or permanent impediment of any of the members of the Board, the Board will work with the other members until the first General Meeting subsequent to the verification of the impediment
  • The Board is responsible for managing the association
  • The Board of APAF meets at least once a month upon call by its President
  • The decisions of the Board of APAF are taken by majority vote of the members present
  • The Board can only validly deliberate as long as more than half of its members are present at the meeting
  • The members of the Board may be represented at the meetings by another member
