EFFAS Summer School 2023

The EFFAS Summer School took place last 6th and 7th of July in Lisbon, with a focus on the topic: ‘Europe: stretching capital markets for growth’ a challenge that the EFFAS Commission on Capital Market has identified and brought to our attention. 

The two-day summit in Lisbon brought together 80+ financial analysts & high-level representatives from all over Europe. They addressed the issues of over-regulation, the necessity for an improved architecture for equity markets in Europe, tax discrimination of equity, the importance of SMEs, and more.

The press release includes a request for clear measures for developing the European capital markets union:

2️⃣ The much-needed review of Solvency II.
3️⃣ SME markets requiring paramount attention.
